Family Picnic - Sunday 8th February
We would like to invite you all to a family picnic and blessing of the school property.

Venue: School site - 426 Belgrave-Hallam Rd, Narre Warren North
Time: 12pm
What to bring: Picnic lunch, picnic rug and chairs.

We will provide a marquee for some shade, and games and fun for the kids
This picnic is the perfect opportunity to meet our first principal, to spend time with the other families who will create the "extended family" of our school community, and to enjoy the beautiful piece of land on which our school will be built.
Inaugural PARED Victoria Foundation Dinner
The well-attended Inaugural Dinner was held in November last year, where couples were invited to share a meal with those who share the same desire for the PARED School Melbourne project.
There were several excellent addresses throughout the evening. Mr Gary Doherty, Chairman of the PARED Foundation, Sydney, presented the keynote address and spoke eloquently about the value of the PARED schools, the importance of the parent-school partnership and its impact on society. Mr Des Cullen, the architect for the school, presented the exciting master plan for the school site. His address can be viewed here.
Mr Kevin Bailey presented the fundraising appeal and spoke expressively about the privilege it is to contribute to such a wonderful project, and the value of each and every contribution. His address can be viewed here.
As promised, the Principal for the first PARED School in Melbourne was announced.

However, if you want a spoiler, then we are delighted to here re-announce that our first Principal will be Frank Monagle. As a mere teaser of his many and varied qualifications for such a role, suffice to say that he and his wife were a founding couple of PARED Sydney, having become familiar with this school model while working in similar schools in Spain, and he has been the inaugural principal of both Redfield and Wollemi in Sydney, and a teacher and tutor in both schools for many years. We are thrilled, and honoured, to welcome him as our first Principal.
2016 Enrolments Open!
We are now open for enrolments for students commencing in Foundation or Grade 1 in 2016! Our principal, Frank Monagle, has already begun conducting enrolment interviews with families currently on our database.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in 2016 and have not yet applied for enrolment (or you know of another family who is interested), please contact our steering committee at paredschoolmelbourne@gmail.com ASAP.
